Michael Connor "MIKEE" Mayronne, Jr.

Michael Connor Mayronne, Jr., "MIKEE” entered into eternal rest on January 3, 2024 as a result of coronary artery disease. He was 39, a native and lifelong resident of Kenner, Louisiana. MIKEE grew up hanging out in the canals of Kenner, this is where he developed his passion for fishing. He was a Boy Scout and was very proud of his accomplishment of achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 2003. MIKEE worked as a Deckhand on tug boats with River Marine for several years. He became a deputy with Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office before going back on the water in Venice, LA to deckhand on charter fishing boats. After many years as a deckhand, got his Captains License and became a Charter Boat Captain. He started SAFARI BLUE CHARTERS, LLC and leased several boats until he got the Frayed Knot, his Cape Fear Catamaran, also known as the “Gorilla Boat.” Captain Mikee was well-known down in Venice, because of his shenanigans and laughter that lit up many lives. Generosity knew no bounds and wild adventures created unforgettable memories. MIKEE didn’t know a stranger. He had one of the most amazing souls, and was the greatest friend anyone could ask for. He was always there if you needed him, and hands down, one of the funniest and most energetic and fearless fisherman. He had an infectious smile. His greatest pleasure was catching big fish and making people smile. Mikee had a full life crammed into a short amount of years and was blessed with a plethora of people who loved him. The Loving son of Audrey Ann Theriot and Michael Connor "Mike" Mayronne. Loving brother of Laura Elaine Mayronne Rittiner (Bryan) and the proud uncle of Olive and Rudyard Rittiner. Beloved paternal grandson of the late Lawrence Robert Mayronne, Phyllis Elaine Connor Mayronne and Myra Penn Mayronne. Beloved maternal grandson of the late Whitney Joseph Theriot, Jr. and Audrey Ann Zeringue Theriot. Godson of Gerald Theriot and Marinda Mayronne Dinges. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins Katie, Jill, Angie, Zac, Joey, Bub, Brian, Brittany, Jonathan, Wesley, Melissa, Annie, Daniel, Joshua, Diana, Mary, Jakey, Johnny, Parker, Peyton, Whitney, Anna Claire, Ella, Paige, Tre' and Sarah.
