Gregory “Big G33” Vincent Johnson, a loving father, devoted companion, and beautiful soul, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, in Covington, LA at the age of fifty. Greg was born on November 25, 1974, in Harbor City, CA to Eric Leverne Johnson and Olivia Pollard. Greg graduated from Fairfax High School. Over his lifetime he held careers in Management. He had a passion for fishing, traveling, and classic cars. He enriched the lives of everyone he met with his compassionate heart and unwavering spirit. His unconditional love, steadfast support, endless encouragement, integrity, loyalty and strong work ethic was the cornerstone of his life. He was the cherished companion of Trina McLemore, and together they lived a life filled with adventure, laughter, and an unbreakable bond. Greg’s greatest joy was his family. He was a fiercely loving father and is survived by his children Giamani Vason Johnson, Gregory Vincent Johnson jr., and Tristan Blake Riley Johnson. He was also a proud grandfather and is survived by his grandchildren Karlo Fuller and Giani Vason Johnson. Gregory is survived by his siblings Kimberly Johnson Calvin, Eric Johnson, Jr., Antoinette "Toi" Muñoz, Bobby Johnson, Nilka Williams, Pablo Johnson, Lydia Cannady, and Amanda Moore. Gregory is preceded in death by his grandparents Roosevelt Pollard, Lydia Pollard, Mildred Johnson, Alexander B. Johnson, Roy Lee Smith and his brother Trevor Johnson. Celebration of Life will be held to honor Gregory on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, family visitation 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm, friends and public visitation 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA 70062.
