Gloria Marie Lee

Gloria Marie Lee, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and godmother, was born on October 6, 1961, and went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2026, at the age of 64. A lifelong resident of Metairie, Gloria shared 34 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Kenneth Lee, and dedicated her life to her family. She was a woman of strength, grace, and unconditional love, bringing joy and comfort to everyone who knew her. Gloria was a devoted godmother to Nicole Vidrine, Chelsea Brown, Sydney Shirley, and Hadelyn Fontenot and treasured her granddaughter, Adelyn, who brought immense happiness to her life. She loved taking pictures, spending time with family, and cherishing every moment. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lee; her son, Joshua Lee, and his wife, Hailey Lee; her granddaughter, Adelyn; her brother and sister-in-law, David and Veronica Brown; and her sisters, Cheryl Shirley, Sandra and Richard McDaniel, and Joann Soileau. She also leaves behind her godchildren, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxie Lee Brown and Huery Joseph Brown, and is now reunited with them in Heaven. Gloria’s love and light will never be forgotten. She poured her heart into her family, her godchildren, and her granddaughter, creating a lifetime of cherished memories filled with laughter, joy, and unconditional love. Her smile, her warmth, and her kindness touched everyone she met, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she loved. Though her presence will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she can now rest at ease, free from the burdens of this world, watching over her family and the many lives she touched. Her spirit will continue to shine through the love, memories, and stories she shared, keeping her alive in our hearts forever.
