Frank Paul Brondum

Frank Paul Brondum, age 71, entered into eternal rest on August 5, 2026, after a lengthy battle with COPD. He was orginally from Metairie, LA and neighboring cities, before moving to Bucktown, LA. He enjoyed spending his time there with his grandparents, family and friends in the Bucktown area. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lake. He later moved and became a resident of Kenner, LA, where he especially loved spending time with his German Shepherd, T-Boy, that he raised from a pup. Frank was the loving father of Shannon Brondum, Frank Paul Brondum, Jr., Christina Jolie Brondum, Nicholas Benjamin Brondum (Ana), Frederick Paul Brondum, and Savannah Rose Brondum. Frank was the son of the late Bernard Brondum, Sr. and Rose Abadie Brondum. Frank was the brother of Bernard Brondum, Jr., Roy Brondum, Raymond Brondum and the late Wanda B. Rigaud. Frank was a comedian at heart, and all who knew him loved him dearly. The family gives a special thanks to Tina Massett, a loving and devoted friend who was committed to taking care of him until God took him home. A special thanks also to Dr. Tyler Baker, who was Frank’s physician for sometime. The family would also like to thank Christina Garrett and the nurses of Hospice Specialists of LA for their excellent care. A special thanks, also, to Chaplain Craig for his assistance in getting Fr. Mike to visit Frank on several occasions and arranging for Fr. Will from St. Philip Neri Catholic Church for visiting him on his last day, August 5, 2026. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 500 Minor St., Kenner, LA on Monday, August 17, 2026. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie, LA.
