David Bogran

David Bogran, 68, beloved husband of Michelle DeNoux Bogran, passed away peacefully at his home in Kenner, Louisiana, on July 11, 2026. Born on January 30, 1958, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, David was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos Bogran Sr. and Catherine Brown Bogran, of Cookeville, Tennessee. He is survived by his devoted wife, Michelle DeNoux Bogran; his stepdaughter, Jennifer DeNoux; and his cherished grandsons, Roman and Boston Poe, whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his brother, Carlos Bogran Jr. (Donna); his nephew and godson, Carlos Bogran III (LeighAnn); his niece, Kristen Bogran Hill (Josh); his great-nieces, Addison Bogran, Riley Bogran, and Aubrey Hill; his great-nephew, Mason Hill; his uncle James Brown (Judith); and his aunt, Georgia Brown Vallejo. David was raised in Chalmette, Louisiana, where he graduated from Chalmette High School in 1976. He continued his education at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana, earning his bachelor's degree. David will be remembered most for the love he poured into his family. He became the "Pop" he never had to be but wholeheartedly chose to be. He welcomed Jennifer into his heart as his own and was a constant source of love, guidance, encouragement, and support throughout her life. His greatest joy was being a Paw Paw to Roman and Boston, who meant the world to him. The bond they shared was built on unconditional love, laughter, and countless treasured memories. David was a loving and devoted husband, a proud Pop and Paw Paw, a beloved brother, a dedicated uncle, and a loyal friend. His kindness, integrity, and generous spirit touched the lives of so many. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a laugh, or simply being there when someone needed him, David left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to David's close friend, Jamie Babin, for his unwavering friendship, loyal companionship, and compassionate support during the final months of David's life. His kindness, presence, and willingness to help brought great comfort to David and to our family, and we will always be grateful. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and his legacy will live on through the countless memories he created with those he loved. He will be deeply missed by many and forever remembered with love until we are reunited again. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by Words of Remembrance at 4:30 p.m.
