Sophia Loren Tadlock

September 24, 1973 - April 9, 2022

Sophia Loren Tadlock passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the age of 48. She was born on September 24, 1973 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Kenner, Louisiana. Sophia graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2004 earning a degree in business administration. Sophia worked in various positions in the hospitality industry and was beloved by her friends and coworkers. Sophia had a passion for travel and spent time living in both Los Angeles and New York. Sophia never met a stranger and she even shared the stage with Prince during a 1997 performance and Beyonce for her performance of 'Single Ladies' during the halftime show of Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans. Sophia's beautiful smile could light up any room and her enthusiasm for life was contagious. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Sophia was preceded in death by her father, Claude Tadlock.Sophia is survived by her son, Anthony John Tadlock; her mother, Mary Alice Somoskey; her five siblings, David Tadlock, Ramona Tadlock, Zackary Tadlock, Ursulla Tadlock and Pia Tadlock; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Jerome Catholic Church. 2402 33rd Street Kenner, LA 70065 on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose, LA.
