Scott Gerald Hale
May 26, 1966 - September 30, 2021
It is with Heavy Hearts we announce the passing of our brother Scott Gerald Hale, on September 30th, 2021 at the age of 55. Scott Hale was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 26,1966. Son of the late Elaine Meyer Hale and Thomas W. Hale, Jr. Scott is survived by his two brothers Tommy Hale (Karon), Glenn Hale, Sr. (Renee), and his only sister Karen Hale Guillot. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives. Scott was a wonderful person, a good man with a good heart. He was always there for his family and friends, spending time and willing to help out any way he could. We all loved that about Scott. We have so many good memories. He had a good sense of humor, and at times he was a jokester, always making you laugh during the good times or the bad times. And all the crazy or silly nicknames he gave to everyone. But most of all Scottie was a great brother, friend, and confidant, someone you could always go to share with, laugh with, or cry with. Scott was the best, one of a kind. He was a hard worker while working two jobs for many years. For close to twenty years he was with the Times Picayune along with Hamco for ten years. Years back Scott worked in warehouses, did marble and tile, plumbing, roofing and lawn care. The last couple of years he was working at Petersons Plumbing for Mark Peterson, a family friend for many years. Scott was also a kind and caring uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle to Stacy, Jennifer, Krystal, Glenn Jr., Sarah, Michael, Samantha, Bryan ,Sabrina, Kaylee, Katie, Samuel, Elijah, Sadi, Karsen, Glenn III, and Kendalyn. Scott was loved by everyone who knew him family, friends and coworkers and he will be dearly missed by all, especially his family. “Our hearts are broken.” Scott was laid to rest at Lake Lawn Metairie in the All Saints Mausoleum. Service was private. “If roses grow in heaven” If roses grow in heaven Lord please pick a bunch for me and place them in our Brothers arms and tell him they’re from us. Tell him that we love and miss him and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for a while. Because remembering him is easy. We do it everyday. But there is an ache within our hearts that will never go away. ‘We love you Scottie’ Arrangements by L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home.
