    Minnie P. Rainey Grice

    November 24, 1930 - May 10, 2022

    With great sadness and love the family of Minnie P. Rainey Grice announce her passing on May 10, 2022. Minnie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dexter Grice, whom she was married to for almost 56 years. She was sister to the late Virdee Rainey Young, Clint Rainey, Bryan Rainey, Desiree Rainey Maskew, Bennie Fay Rainey Walters and Harlan Rainey. Minnie was the mother of Ronnie (wife Yvette), Donna, Kevin (wife Barbara) and Jamie. She was also the proud grandmother of J.P., Brandon, Chelsea, Derek, Marcy, Christopher, Kirstin, Kenneth, Sarah, Jay, Joey, and Brooke. She was the great grandmother of Sydney, Weston, Skyler, Bentley, Emmalyn, Hayahnna, Adam Jr., Kadan, Kardan, Malakai, Roman, Amee, John and Allison. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Ann Rainey, and numerous nieces and nephews. May her gentle spirit, family focused and unconditional love live on in us all as a sacred part of those whose hearts she filled with love, hopes, and dreams. In celebration of her life, a wake will be held in honor of Minnie with relatives and friends invited to attend. It will be held at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Boulevard, Kenner on Friday May 13, 2022. Visitation will be held from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral services which will be held at St. Charles United Methodist Church, 1905 Ormond Blvd., Destrehan on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Friends and family are also invited to attend a graveside service at Soules Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 579 Rainey Rd., Moselle, MS 39459 at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made In lieu of flowers and at the request of our beloved mom to St. Charles United Methodist Church in her honor.
