Joyce F. Pelanne Rhoades passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the age of 73. She was a native of Corpus Christi, TX and a resident of LaPlace, LA. Beloved wife of Garold A. “Abe Lincoln” Rhoades, Jr. Mother of Christina A. Krewer, Beverly A. Eckel, Veronica L. Besse, Samanatha L. Cran and Reginald “Johnny” E. Besse, Jr. Daughter of the late Alfred P. Pelanne, II and Enid Aaron Pelanne. Sister of Alfred P. Pelanne III and Charlene Cronin. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
