Jesse P. Bowman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jesse P. Bowman peacefully passed away on December 27, 2021 surrounded by family at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Mable Bradbury Bowman. Loving father to Barbara Griffen (Eddie), Peggy Mesman (Timmy) and Kathy Thibodeaux (Steve). Grandfather of Jason, Jeffrey, Jamie, Ryan, Tyler, Zachary, Kraig, Hunter and Gage. Great Grandfather of Baylee, Riley, Cruz, Emma, Mia, Audrey, Ava, Yasmine, Kailani, Savannah, Mila and Valerie. He is also survived by his brothers Sam and Oscar (Rita) Bowman and by other loving relatives and friends. Son of the late William A. Bowman Sr. and Irene Lemoine Bowman. He was also preceded in death by his siblings William Bowman Jr., Mason Bowman, Mary Hooter, Cecile Dufour, Lena Dufour, Luby Mae Lemoine and Eva Bunch. He was a native of Cottonport, LA and longtime resident of Kenner, LA, before moving to Colfax, LA. He retired as a crane operator from Boh Bros Construction Company after 35 years. He was also a member of the IUOE Local 406 for 57 years. After his retirement he enjoyed his time with his family by hunting, fishing, gardening, and working on his land. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Friday, December 31, 2021. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 12:00 noon in Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Ball, LA.
