Genova Calderon Urbina passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the age of 57. She was a native of Guatemala City, Guatemala and a resident of Kenner, Louisiana. Genova moved to the New Orleans area in 1981 at the age of 19. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Beloved wife of Frank Edgar Urbina. Loving mother of Luci Samayoa (Johnny), Kathryn Hatch (Aaron), Jenny Urbina and Anthony Ayala. Grandmother of Allyson, Sariah, and Amelia Hatch and McKay, Chloe and Hayden Samayoa. Daughter of the late Encarnacion and Antonio Calderon. Sister of Dora Ayala, Santa Alvarez, Alba Calderon and Victor Calderon. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
