Frederick Charles Stierwald, Jr. passed away on March 22, 2018 at the age of 81. He was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Metairie. Loving and devoted husband of Diane LeBlanc Stierwald. Loving father of Elizabeth, Frederick III (Kim), Eric (Kendra), Robert (Raini), and the late Kathleen Stierwald. Loving grandfather of Madison, Taylor, Logan and Rylie. Son of the late Maugerite Stortz and Frederick Stierwald, Sr. Brother of Cindy Kuhn and Kenneth Stierwald. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd, Kenner on Tuesday, April, 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org or the VA at www.volunteer.va.gov
