Cole Holden Benit

Cole Holden Benit, 20, from New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on April 19, 2019 as a result of a traumatic traffic accident. Son of Dudley “Jay” Benit (Tuula) and Patricia Maus Benit-Laing (Tim); sibling to Eve Marie Benit and Wyatt Dudley Benit; grandson to the late “Butch” and Katherine Benit, the late Carl Maus and to Georgiana Hock Maus; nephew to the late Stephen Benit (Genova), Barbara Krieger (Craig), Vanessa Vitrano (Jay), David Maus (Tracy), Mary Kay Huesmann (Mark) and 10 cousins. Cole was a student at the University of New Orleans and also attended Delgado. Cole was an Eagle Scout with Troop 150, a graduate of New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy and was very active and ambitious. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, skateboarding, traveling, camping, attending concerts and festivals, listening to music, Mardi Gras and riding his motorcycle. He loved life to the fullest and had high expectations for himself and his success in life.
