Carmen Ana Zambrano passed away peacefully on December 23, 2021 at 1:00 a.m. She was born on August 7, 1946 and went to be with her Lord at the age of 75 years. She was a native of Puerto Rico and a resident of St. Bernard Parish. She is the beloved wife of the late Roberto Zambrano, Sr. Lovingly remembered by her children Carmen Perez (Alejandro Armenta) and Juan Perez (Stacey Perez). Daughter of the late Genoveva Hernandez and Ramon Gonzales. Grandmother of Tiffani McKnight (Jacob McKnight), Kalyn Traina (Chaz Perez), Dianna Jackson (Robert Jackson), Juan Perez, Jr., Robert Fradella, III, and Valerie Perez. Great-grandmother of Autumn Perez, Amelia McKnight, and Kingston Jackson. Also preceded in death by step-children and step-grandchildren. Carmen was a hard worker at Joly Printing and as a Walmart greeter. After her retirement, she spent her time with her loving family doing all the things she most enjoyed such as storytelling, laughing, tequila- drinking and dancing with all of her children. A memorial will be held at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Saturday, January 8, 2022 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Arrangements by L. A.
