Maria Antonia Paniagua

Our sweet mother, Maria Antonia Paniagua, went to be with Jesus on November 10, 2023 at the age of 86. She was surrounded by her loved ones until her last breath. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She worked hard all her life sacrificing for her family. She was the epitome of strength and enduring love. She was well-loved by family and friends and will be missed so much. The family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of love, support and prayers. Nuestra dulce madre, María Antonia Paniagua, partió para estar con Jesús el 10 de Noviembre de 2023 a la edad de 86 años. Estuvo rodeada de sus seres queridos hasta su último aliento. Era una madre maravillosa que siempre estaba ahí cuando la necesitábamos. Trabajó duro toda su vida sacrificándose por su familia. Ella era el modelo de la fuerza y el amor duradero. Era muy querida por su familia y amigos y la extrañaremos mucho. La familia quiere agradecer a todos por el torrente de amor, apoyo y oraciones. Beloved wife of the late Humberto Paniagua. Loving mother of William Soto (Mayda(dec)), Cesar Garcia (Thelma), Sheny Garcia (Hector), Elsa Paniagua, Juan Paniagua (Lily), Nery Paniagua, Ronnie Paniagua( Scarlett), Arely Paniagua (Sandy), and Brenda Gonzalez (Jeffrey). Grandmother of 30 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. Daughter of the late Corona Garcia and Ricardo Avila, and step daughter of the late Francisco DeLeon. Sister of Dora Elena, Filiberto, Carlos, Oscar Ricardo, Enma Elvira, Luis Fernando and the late Manuel, Francisco, Eduardo, Mervin Avila and Yoli Acevedo; Rosa DeLeon, Luis, Dora and the late Abraham and Gela Garcia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Night Visitation on Thursday November 16, 2023 at L.A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA 70062 from 4:30pm to 8:00 pm. Visitation and Funeral Mass on Friday, November 17, 2023 at L. A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, 8200 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70003
