Larry Keith Anderson, Jr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Larry Keith Anderson passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 61, following a battle with cancer. Larry was born on August 20, 1964, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Janice Conrad Anderson and the late Larry Keith Anderson, Sr. Larry was proud of his career as a Respiratory Therapist, spending more than 37 years caring for others and supporting the people he worked with; his clinical expertise, professionalism, and calm approach earned the admiration of everyone fortunate enough to work alongside him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, support a coworker, or share his knowledge and experience with those around him. He was a mentor to many, often without even realizing it, and was someone others could always count on. His willingness to put others before himself was simply part of who he was, both at work and in his personal life. Larry was known for his compassion, dedication, and deep love for his family and friends. Outside of his career, he enjoyed the simple things that brought him happiness. He loved attending concerts, listening to music, spending time in his garden, and especially valued time with his children. And, of course, Larry never passed up the opportunity for a good nap-something he considered a perfectly worthwhile way to spend an afternoon! Whether sharing a laugh, offering advice, or simply enjoying time together, his greatest joy came from being surrounded by his family, and his love for them was evident in everything he did. Larry will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, generous spirit, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he met. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, both personally and professionally, and through the love, memories, and connections he created with his family and friends. Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Courtney Anderson; his loving children, Amanda Masley (Jerred), Rachel Robert (Ryne), Jeffery Anderson (Marisa), Clayton Merwin, and Caroline Merwin; his mother, Janice Conrad Anderson; his sister, Kerry Anderson; his brothers, Kevin Anderson and Rory Anderson; his mother-in-law, Teresa Guzzetta; his father-in-law, John Campbell (Margaret); and extended family members, dear friends, and colleagues who will forever cherish his memory. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, for family, friends, colleagues, and anyone who would like to pay their respects and honor Larry's life; details will be shared privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an organization that holds special meaning to you, in memory of Larry. Though Larry's presence will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
