Juan Carlos Linares

Juan “Carlos” Linares Figueroa, 50, of Kenner Louisiana, passed away on March 8th, 2023, of natural causes surrounded by his family. Carlos was born in El Salvador, one of the youngest of ten siblings. He was kind, loving and always put others before himself. He lived his life selfless, always willing to help everyone who needed it with his many talents and most importantly his time. He was hardworking and gained the respect of those around him. He built great relationships with his colleagues who had become to him like family. On his free time he loved to BBQ “carne asada” with his close ones, he enjoyed dancing with his wife and family and creating timeless memories that will never be forgotten. Although he went through lots of hardships throughout his life, he always had a smile on his face. His laugh was contagious, and his hugs comforting. His humor always made it difficult to escape his conversations. He will be missed greatly. The wonderful moments he shared with us will forever be remembered. We can only hope his legacy will carry on forever, reminding us to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like Christ modeled for us. His family hopes he is spending his time in heaven fishing on a boat soaking up the peace he so very much deserved. Carlos will be missed greatly by his loving wife Loida Sandoval Linares, his children Dayana Abigail Linares and Jhoseph Linares, his step children Samantha Sandoval, Juan C. Molina and Sean Molina, his Siblings Digno Linares(Josefina Linares), Cristina Schneider, Lilian Linares, David Linares (Nelly Linares), Rosa Linares, Aracely Martínez(Roberto Martínez), Rafael A. Linares(Iris Linares), Irma Linares, Marisol Menjivar(Tomas Menjivar) and his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Carlos is preceded in death by his mother Saturnina Linares Figueroa and his father Rafael Linares. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Friday, March 17, 2023. Visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m.
