Gloria Ann Ramirez

Gloria Ann Ramirez resident of Metairie, LA departed this world on September 23, 2022 at the age of 69. Gloria devoted her life to her family and church. She loved deeply and had extraordinary consideration for all who were in her life. She had the remarkable ability to accept everyone as they are and to be truly present for all she loved in a modern world that increasingly robs our precious time with loved ones. Gloria and Cary had the greatest love story of all time. Side by side they faced all manner of challenges and joys. She was cared for at her end of life with exceptional care and love from her soulmate. A love to be revered for all time and to live by its extraordinary example. She loved her family more than words can say. They were her best friends whom she greatly admired for all the hope and love she saw in each. Everyone in her family felt her enormous love. Her friends were with her for life and even surrounded her at the end of her life. To all her beloved family and friends, know that she is still with us. Her magnificent spirit is all around us. She will warm us in the summer sun smiling on us and rooting for us from above. She will kiss us with the chill of winter’s cold brisk air. She will pour down with the rains of Spring nourishing our gardens splashing love from heaven all over us. She will wrap us in the Autumn winds awakening us to our spiritual harvest. Do not shed tears when I have gone but smile instead because I lived. See all that I have left behind. I know your heart will be empty because I am not here but I still want you to be full of the love we shared. Cherish my memory and live on. I am with you always. Caring grandmother of Ludovica Ballou, Anton Constance, Sylvia Constance, and Alyssa Ramirez. Daughter of Arturo Williams and Evelyn Bowers. Sister of Estelle Chevalier (Glyn), Wayne Williams ( San), Ralph Williams (Rose), Karl Bowers (Sherry), Larry Bowers (Monique), and the late Ronald Steven Williams (Suzie) and the late Randy Williams. Gloria is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Visitation from 1:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Rose, LA.
