Erma Blevins Scudari, age 94, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. Preceded in death by her husband Arthur J. Scudari, her parents, John William Blevins and Ella M. Pryor, and her brother and his wife, John William Blevins. Jr. (Sis). Beloved mother of Arthur, Jr. (Netti), Rebecca S. Maloney (Steve), Jill, Steven (Dianna), and David Scudari. Devoted grandmother of Melissa M. Wallace (Grant), Stephen Maloney (Shelby), and Sean (Lauren), Jeremy (Sarah), Casey, Amy, and Steven Scudari, Jr. Step-grandmother of Nathan Rozzell and Erin D. Robichaux (Kadin). Loving great-grandmother of Grant Wallace, Jr., Colin, Charlie, Sam, and Max Maloney, Luca and Lawson Scudari, and step great-grandmother of Draco Robichaux. Honorary mother of Sherry P. Esta (Mike), honorary grandmother of Brad (McKenzie) and Blake Esta, and honorary great-grandmother of Elijah and Reid Esta. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Erma was a native of Catlettsburg, KY and a resident of Metairie for the past 65 years. Although being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was her primary role, before her marriage, Erma worked as a legal secretary, and later worked part-time at the Beverly Dinner Playhouse and at Marie’s Catering. She was a founding member of the Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church parish and dedicated many years to the Mother’s Club at the OLDP Elementary School. Our heartfelt thanks to our mother’s caring medical team including her goddaughter Mary Beth B. D’Arcangelo (Joseph), her home health nurse Teresa, and the Notre Dame Hospice staff, especially Kim, Mimi, and Pamela. Relatives, friends of the family, and parishioners of OLDP Church, are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Divine Providence Church, 8617 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie, LA 70003 on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 12:30 PM. Visitation at the church from 10:30 AM until time of service. Interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Rose, LA.
