Edna Jane Little

In Loving Memory of Edna Edna was a devoted and beloved fiancé to Gary Asbury. Together, they spent 40 wonderful years making memories, sharing common interests, and building a life filled with love, laughter, and family. She was a devoted and loving mother to Brice (Michele), Beth (Chuck), and Adam(Christina), a motherly figure to many and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to many whom she loved dearly. She was also a loving sister to Milton (Susie), Sharon, and Emma (Bart). Her family was her greatest joy, and she took great pride in each and every one of them. When Edna was younger, you could often find her at the ballpark, at the bowling alley, or enjoying live music and dancing. Edna also loved hosting and decorating for Halloween each year, creating a special tradition where numerous family members and friends could gather together. She had a gift for making holidays and gatherings feel warm, welcoming, and memorable. Her home was a place where people could come together, laugh, make memories, and feel like family. Edna was one of the most selfless people anyone could ever have the privilege of knowing. She had a heart that seemed to have room for everyone, and she spent her life putting the needs of others before her own. Compassion was simply a part of who Edna was. She had a way of making the people around her feel loved, valued, and important. She never hesitated to remind her family that she was proud of them, and she was always there to listen when someone needed a shoulder, a kind word, or simply someone who cared. Edna opened not only her heart, but her home, to those who needed somewhere to go. She gave people a sense of safety and belonging when they needed it most, never expecting anything in return. Her greatest gift was the love she gave so freely. She taught those around her, through the way she lived, that family means being there for one another, especially when life is difficult. Edna leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, strength, and unconditional love. Though her absence will be deeply felt, the love she gave to so many will continue to live on through the people whose lives she touched. She will be remembered not only for the things she did, but for the way she made people feel: loved, accepted, cared for, and worthy of being proud of. Edna was a beautiful example of what it means to love others selflessly. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by Gary, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
