Dianne Gauthreaux Rodriguez was called home to be with the Lord on May 23, 2026, at the age of 80. Dianne embraced life with joy and treasured every moment spent with those she loved. She was always dressed in style and elegance, always ready to dance the night away and genuinely eager to learn everything about you and your family. She was loving and kind, with a special gift for making everyone feel seen, loved, and important. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and never forgot a birthday. Her beauty was matched only by the kindness of her heart. Her gentle spirit, joyful personality, and unconditional love touched countless lives and will be cherished forever. Born on April 22, 1946, to Mary and Pete Gauthreaux, Dianne was raised surrounded by family and love. She shared a lifelong bond with her siblings Lynn (Mike), Lionel (Judy), Dalton “Rap” (Shirley) and Carson. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her brother-in-law, Mike. Dianne is survived by her devoted husband, Manuel Rodriguez, with whom she shared a love that comes only once in a lifetime. Together, they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and unwavering devotion — true soulmates in every sense of the word. She was the cherished mother of 4 daughters Jill Broussard (Keith), Peggy Fry (Jay), Shelly Wilson (Stephen) and Cindy Klapper (Mark). She was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren Heather Poche (Jonathan), Duane Croissant Jr. (Ashli), Brett Fry (Janelle), Grant Fry, Garrett Klapper (Christina), Ryan Kalpper (Kayla), Stephanie O’Quinn (Kevin), Jordan Wilson (Jessica), Morgan Wilson (Kara), Ashleigh Vanderbrook (Brad), Austin Broussard and the loving great-grandmother to 25 great-grandchildren Jackson, Haley and Drew Poche; Aryelle, Duane III and Leelan Croissant; Beckham, Brody, Mia and Heath Klapper; Iris, Scarlett, Silas and Irving O’Quinn; Madison, Jackson, Deckland and Brynlee Wilson; Amelia Fry; and Jalen Broussard with 4 more Wilson’s and one Fry to come. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews: Carson Jr. (Shay), Britney (Justin), Brant, Mike (Kati), Darla (Travis), Stacie, Shannon (Chris), Jessi (Jeff) and Brandy, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy of kindness, laughter, love, and family will live on forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Memorial Service at L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
