It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Cheryl Denise Stevens Fontanille, who departed this world at the young age of 55. She was a beacon of light in our lives, radiating warmth, kindness, and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her untimely departure has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled. Cheryl will be remembered most for her kind heart and selfless nature. She had a genuine compassion for others and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she would always put the needs of others before her own. Her acts of kindness and love touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact that will never be forgotten. Cheryl’s greatest joys in life were her family, fur babies, and company of her friends. She is survived by her husband, Mark Dallas Fontanille. Her son, Addison Lee Davis. Her daughter, Serenity Victoria Davis and her puppy son Dallas and puppy daughter Patches. She is also survived by a multitude of family members, loved ones, and friends.. too many names to list and include everyone she cares deeply for, but all who knows her, knows she never knew a stranger . She is also met in heaven by her parents: William “Billy” Stevens and Sylvia Kassel Caruso, recently predeceased niece Brittany Rose Barranyai, along with many relatives and friends. Cheryl’s smile was like a ray of sunshine, lighting up the room and bringing joy to all who beheld it. Her infectious laughter and positive outlook on life were a source of comfort and inspiration to those around her. She had a way of making even the darkest days seem brighter, and her presence was a gift to all who knew her. As we mourn the loss of Cheryl, we take heart in the memories we shared and the love she bestowed upon us. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a reminder of the beauty and goodness that she brought into the world. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her love and light will continue to guide us through the darkest of times. She will be missed dearly & memory will live on forever. “The Lord Gives And The Lord Takes Away. At The End Of The Day, It Is His Say. She Belongs To God First Anyways.” Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. Visitation will be held in church from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., words of remembrance from 3:00 p.m to 3:15 p.m. and the Funeral Service to immediately follow at 3:15 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date.
