Annette Weathersby Dickerson Penwright Sunrise: 12/24/59 Sunset: 4/18/21 She was a graduate from John H Martyn High School. She was an Employee by Moore & Ness Law & Legal Service as a Transcriptionist, Pellerin Milnor, and River Road Apartments. Mrs. Penwright was born in McComb, MS and lived most of her life in St. Rose, LA. She was a loving and devoted wife to Jerome Penwright, Sr. She leaves in Cherish Memory her children: Lakisha D. Chandler and husband John, Willie Mathew Dickerson, III and Yolanda, Frederick Jason Dickerson, Sr. and wife Laura. Her step children Jerome Penwright, Jr. and wife Sara, Tiffany Penwright, and Willie Lewis. Her loving and precious grandchildren: Rashard & Shannon Tate Jr., Tamiya Lee, Dominique Brown, Winesha Thomas, Trinity Dillon, Eukia Dickerson, Brandon Gremillion, Savanah Lanaé and Frederick Dickerson Jr. Great grandsons: Carson Rashard Tate and Musik Austin. Her loving Godchild Shelby Simmons. Annette was the daughter of the late Eva Mae H. Weathersby and William Weathersby, Jr. and stepdaughter of Gladys Weathersby. Daughter-in-law to the late Joshua & Corrine Penwright. She was the sister to 4 brothers: the late Gill Forette, William, Isiah, and William James Weathersby. She had 5 sisters: Hope Simmons and husband Michael of Kenner, Lynda L. Martin of Baton Rouge, Diondra W. Tucker of Kenner, Brenda Weathersby of Houston Texas, and the late Leashelle Weathersby. She was the sister-in-law of Earlind Weathersby, Yevonne Penwright, Matilda Kendrick, Deborah Taylor, and the late Rose & Lavinia Penwright, Richard Penwright and wife Carolyn, and Joshua Penwright Jr. and wife Nan. Also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of Family and Friends. She will be missed by her long devoted Mother-in-law, Shirley C. Dickerson. Her long time friend Carolyn Johnson of Wiggins Mississippi and her cousin Diane Jones. Annette will be Deeply Missed by her family and loving husband Jerome Sr. and everyone who knew her. Annette fought a long and hard fight, but God needed her more than we did and called her home so she can get her eternal rest. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
